Mocs' Liz Broadley Earns BGMC Swimmer of the Week Award

Liz Broadley won three events and set two school records vs. SCAD

The performance by the Moccasins' Liz Broadley in last Friday's meet with Savannah College of Art and Design has earned her the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week Award.

A freshman from Orlando, Broadley set school records in winning the 1000-yard freestyle (10:42.76) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:13.49) and also won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:59.33.

Her 1000-yard freestyle time was an NCAA Division II "B" Cut time.

This marks the second straight week a Moccasin swimmer has earned the BGMC Women's Swimmer of the Week. Cara Potter won the award last week.
