Gard Earns Honorable Mention All-America Honor

He is an honorable mention All-America selection to the Division II PING All-America Team chosen by the Golf Coaches Association of America. A total of 22 golfers received honorable mention recognition on the All-America Team.
In his first season with FSC, Gard led the team in stroke average (73.1) and was a second-team All-SSC selection. He won the Moccasins' Matlock Classic in February and had four other top ten finishes in the spring, including a 10th-place finish at the SSC Tournament.
He had the Moccasins' top two individual rounds of the season, shooting a 66 in the final round of the Georgia College & State Invitational and a 67 in the opening round of the Matlock Classic.
A graduate of Lakeland's George Jenkins High School, Gard transferred to FSC after two seasons at Abraham Baldwin College in Georgia.
