FSC Men Named Scholar All-America Team

The Florida Southern men's swim team was one of only 19 NCAA Division II men's team recognized as an All-American Scholar Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of American. The Moccasins' team grade point average of 3.21 was fifth highest overall and the highest GPA of any Sunshine State Conference team.
Lenoir-Rhyne University posted the highest GPA at 3.57 while the Colorado School of Mines was second at 3.42. Pace University and St. Cloud finished third and fourth at 3.37 and 3.27 respectively, with Florida Southern rounding out the top five.
The Team Scholar All-American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
