Mocs Game at Warner Cancelled Due to Rain, Will Be Made Up on April 23

LAKELAND - Florida Southern's non-conference baseball game scheduled with Warner on Tuesday in Lake Wales has been cancelled due to rain that hit the area early Tuesday morning and made the field conditions at Warner unplayable.

The game will now be played on Wednesday, April 23 at beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Royals Field on the Warner campus.

FSC, who is ranked 14th in the latest Collegiate Baseball Division II Top 30 poll, is sporting a 25-11 overall record and an 8-4 mark in the Sunshine State Conference, while Warner is 18-21-2 on the season.

With Tuesday's cancellation, the Mocs can now turn their attention to Florida Tech, who they host in a three-game SSC series this coming weekend at Henley Field. The three-game series will open on Friday, April 11 with a 6 p.m. game, before concluding the series with a doubleheader set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.
