Lady Mocs Win One Event, HaveTwo Other Top Four Finishes

Sophia Bernard won the 200 meter dash

A win by Sophia Bernard in the 200 meter dash highlighted the Lady Mocs' effort at the Tampa Distance Carnival Saturday.

Bernard's winning time was 27.97.

Ali Gardino was third in the 800 meters in a time of 2:22.6

Carolyne Kwambai tied for third in the 1500 meters with Tampa's Michelle Gabrielle.  Both had identical times of 4:51.6. 

Saturday the Moccasins will be in Jacksonville to compete in the University of North Florida Challenge, their final competition of the spring.
