2012 Florida Southern co-captain along with senior Morgan Sammons… Her 20 career starts coming into 2012 are the third most on this year’s team, and 34 games played are tied for second behind Sammons.

As a sophomore (2011)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Started the season opener at Florida Tech at forward, but the remaining 14 games at center back and was one of seven Moccasins to start every game… Second on the team in minutes played, and played all but six minutes over the last 11 games… Helped the Moccasin defense allow one goal or no goals in 11 of their 15 games, and only once allow more than two… Prevented a Florida Southern loss at Nova Southeastern by defending an open net in the first overtime period of a 1-1 tie (Sept. 21)… Assisted Florida Southern’s first goal in 3-0 win at Eckerd (Sept. 14), the second year in a row she had a point against the Tritons.

As a freshman (2010)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… One of eight players to appear in all 19 games, but one of only two freshmen… Three of her five starts came against teams that played in the NCAA Tournament, and another was against Saint Leo in the first round of the conference tournament… One of the Mocs’ top reserves for most of the season, and was the first or second player off the bench five times… Scored her first career goal in a 5-0 win over Nova Southeastern (Oct. 23)… Picked up her assist in the 4-0 win over Eckerd (Sept. 15)… Averaged 34 minutes per match.

In high school… Joined the Moccasins as a 2010 graduate of Highland High School in New York, where she played soccer for coach Keith Walker… Selected to the NYSSWA Class B All-State Team and First Team All-Mid Hudson Athletic League as a junior (fall of 2008) when she scored four goals and had 23 assists… Played as a forward in 2007, and had 17 goals and 13 assists… Missed most of her senior season with a knee injury, scoring three goals with one assist in four games... Returned in the spring to play softball for Highland High School and was a First Team All-MHAL selection as an infielder… Also played basketball in her career at Highland High School… Played for the Highland United Soccer Club.

Extra… Born 6/2/92… Daughter of Kai and Lucille Abrahamsen… Has one older brother (Erik) and one older sister (Nicole)… Human Movement & Performance major with a minor in Spanish.
