May 7When the season began, Bethany Boomer wasn’t even in the starting lineup. When it ended, she was one of the best players in the Sunshine State Conference, and was one of three Florida Southern players on the 2010 All-SSC Softball Team. In The End, Brown Was at Her Best, But at The End, Spartans Spoil Senior Day With a Split
April 24LAKELAND – Morgan Brown gave Florida Southern everything she had on Saturday, and maybe even a little bit more. But every hero needs a villain of equal strength, and like the Joker in Batman, Julie Wisniewski played that role oh so well. Brown pitched 12.1 scoreless innings for the Moccasins, earning a 4-0 win in game one, but Wisniewski’s 7th-inning RBI double and a two-run homer by Susan Jallo gave the Spartans a 3-1 victory in game two.. Tampa Holds Off Late FSC Rally in 4-3 Win Over Mocs
April 23LAKELAND – To be perfectly honest, Julie Wisniewski would have to be considered a fairly light hitter coming into a 3-game weekend series between Tampa and Florida Southern, but that didn’t stop her from doing the heavy lifting on Friday night.
