LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College beach volleyball head coach Hyrum Keime has announced the addition of Celia Greco to his squad for the Moccasins 2018-19 campaign. Florida Southern, which is competing in its first year as a beach volleyball program, is also set to bring in several other players to add to its ever-growing roster.
"Celia is an extraordinary student-athlete," said Keime. "She has an amazing set of skills and tools that will allow her to excel on the beach. She comes in having a thorough understanding and tremendous knowledge of the game and its intricacies. We are looking for her to make an immediate impact on the team."
A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Greco played at First Colonial High School and for Coastal Volleyball Club. She was named as Coastal's top digger twice and was the most improved player on the First Colonial volleyball squad. She is also a standout in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society.
The Moccasins conclude their inaugural beach volleyball campaign at Tampa on April 23.
