JACKSONVILLE, FL - Paige Tynan took first place in the Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter Saturday at the University of North Florida Equestrian Event with Shona Whitfield finishing right behind in second place. In the Beginner Walk/Trot/Canter, Emily McPartlin came in fourth place while Shelby Cain placed fourth in the Beginner Walk/Trot.
LAKELAND, FL (9/14/17) - We are pleased to share with you that as of this morning we now have power in almost all buildings across campus. What wonderful news! We are still waiting for power to come on in Colony Arms Apartments, Roberts Academy, and a few FSC houses surrounding the campus. CLEVELAND, OH - Florida Southern College athletics continued its long tradition of success with a 16th place finish in the final standings of the 2016-17 Learfield Directors' Cup, which ranks all athletic programs at the NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA levels based on their success in athletic competition.

SAVANNAH, GA - Emily Shoaf took first place in the Flat Novice W/T/C Class 3B in a Region Five Zone Five event host Saturday at the Savannah College Art & Design. Also Marjorie Rodolsi placed second in the Flat Novice Class 4A event.

OCALA - Florida Southern's new equestrian club team finished in 10th place out of 16 teams at the University of Florida's IHSA Hunt/Seat Event held this past Saturday. The Moccasins finished with 15 team points. Florida won its event with 39 team points.
