Twin 279's Have Moccasins Up by 17 Shots After Second Round of Saint Leo Invitational September 19, 2016 SAINT LEO – After starting the season with a tournament at Duke University with some of the top Division I teams in the country, Florida Southern was a lot closer to home for its second tournament and the Moccasins immediately re-asserted themselves. John VanDerLaan Honored as SSC Player-of-the-Week in Men's Golf September 12, 2016 Men’s golfer John VanDerLaan is Florida Southern’s first Sunshine State Conference Player-of-the-Week for the 2016-17 academic year following his season-opening performance at the Rod Myers Invitational last weekend. The junior from Southbury, Connecticut was the Moccasins’ top golfer in a field of 14 teams and 82 total participants in the annual tournament hosted by Duke University.
