Kozik Sets Second-Fastest Time in School History at Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, PA - Sophomore Mitchell Kozik set the second-fastest time in school history in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for Florida Southern men's track on Saturday as they competed in the 2019 Bison Outdoor Classic. Kozik's 9:39.59 pace is the second-fastest time for the 3,000-meter steeplechase in school history. Kozik now holds the four fastest performances in school history for the event, as well as six of the top eight times. Sophomore Josh Wagner became the fourth-fastest performer in school history with his 14:55.99 time in the 5,000-meter run, the ninth-fastest performance for the Moccasins.

Florida Southern will compete at the South Florida Invitational on Friday, April 19 in Tampa.
