DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Evan Quinones and Matthew Pennell each posted a second-fastest time in Moccasin history in their respective events as the Florida Southern men's track team opened its season Saturday at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge.

BRADENTON, FL - Evan Quinones became the first-ever Moccasin to compete in the NCAA Division II Men's Track and Field Championships here Friday at the IMG Academy. The junior competed in the first of three preliminary heats in the 800-meter and turned in a time of 1:56.60 to finish seventh in the heat.
BRADENTON, FL - For the first time in the nine-year history of the Florida Southern track program, the Moccasins will have a runner compete at the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships. Junior Evan Quinones will don the scarlet and white and represent the Moccasins in the 800-meter race Friday at 6:20 p.m. here at the IMG Academy. The 800-meter championship is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
NEW ORLEANS — Festus Kemboi, Robert Ormsby, and Evan Quinones have been named to the All-South Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2016-17 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season.
INDIANAPOLIS - Evan Quinones made history today as the junior became the first-ever runner from Florida Southern to qualify for the NCAA Division II Men's Track Championships. The Saratoga Springs, N.Y. native will compete in the 800-meter run on May 26 at the national meet which take place at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The event is scheduled for 6:20 p.m.
