    MELBOURNE, FL - Florida Southern College had 75 student-athletes named to the Fall SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll, the Sunshine State Conference announced on Friday. The Moccasins ranked second among all SSC schools in the total number of student-athletes honored, and had the most with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (27).

    SAINT LEO – Florida Southern finished in 26th at the NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country National Championship with 656 points here Saturday at The Abbey Golf Course at Saint Leo University. The 26th place finish is the best for the Moccasins since the 2010 squad, led by current head coach Ben Martucci, came in 23rd place.

For the third time this season, the Moccasins will be competing on The Abbey Golf Course on the Saint Leo campus.     FAYETTEVILLE, AR - Red-Shirt Junior Bobby Ormsby finished with a career-best time of 24:28.91 to finish in 30th place out of 583 runners and lead Florida Southern to an 8th place finish here at the 28th Annual Chile Pepper Festival held Saturday at the University of Arkansas' off-road course. Ormsby's time is the second fastest time in Florida Southern history, just over two seconds behind current Moc head coach Ben Martucci's time of 24:26.43 set on Nov. 6, 2010 at the Sunshine State Conference Championship.
