    MELBOURNE, FL - Florida Southern College place 169 student-athletes on the SSC Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll, the Sunshine State Conference office announced on Tuesday morning, placing the Moccasins second among all 11 SSC member institutions. In addition, the Mocs had a conference-best 60 student-athletes finish with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average for the spring semester, nearly twice as many as second-place Florida Tech (36).
  • Ashley Shell Completes Women's Basketball's Recruiting Class

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College women's basketball head coach Betsy Harris has wrapped up her recruiting class for the upcoming 2018-19 campaign with the signing of Ashley Shell, a 5-11 forward from Deerfield Beach High School. Shell will join the Moccasins after averaging 14.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game as a senior. Shell helped lead the Bucks to a 24-6 record this past season, including a trip to the FHSAA Girls 9A State Semifinals.
  • Mocs Add Campbell to 2018 Recruiting Class

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College women's basketball has added another piece to the puzzle with the addition of Chesney Campbell, who signed with the Moccasins earlier this month after spending two years at the College of Southern Idaho. During her two years with the Golden Eagles, Chesney helped lead her squad to a pair of 20-win seasons, including a 23-9 record in 2017-18.

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College women's basketball head coach Betsy Harris has announced the signing of Kateryna Pazzaglia Khomenko to her squad for the upcoming 2018-19 campaign. A native of Italy, Khomenko will join the Moccasins after spending two seasons at Georgia Highlands College, where she helped lead the Chargers to 19 wins and an appearance in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Region 17 semifinals last year.

The duo was previously recognized the D2 Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) as first team all-South Region honorees and earned first team all-conference accolades from the Sunshine State Conference earlier this month.

The Moccasins (23-4) got out to a big lead as they lead as they limited the Lions (13-16) to just five points in the first quarter, and Anja Fuchs-Robetin highlighte the night by becoming the 23rd player in school history to score 1,000 career points.

    MELBOURNE, FL -  For the third week in a row, Florida Southern College women's basketball junior Anja Fuchs-Robetin was named the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday. In addition to Monday, also earned the award on Nov. 27, Jan. 8, Feb. 5 and 19.

    DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Florida Southern College women's basketball ended its regular season with a 67-62 loss at Embry-Riddle. The Moccasins (22-4, 17-3 SSC) took a lead one-point lead into the fourth quarter, but the Eagles (21-6, 15-5 SSC) were able to open the final quarter with a 5-0 run to take the lead for the final time. Jensen Blassage (26), Camille Giardina (15) and Anja Fuchs-Robetin (13) all totaled double-digit points in the loss.

    BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Southern College women's basketball raced out to an early lead and never trailed as it dominated Lynn, 76-59, on Wednesday night to win its 14th-straight game and clinch the Sunshine State Conference regular-season title. The Moccasins (21-3, 16-2 SSC) built a 17-point lead after one quarter of play, and the Fighting Knights (11-14, 7-11) never stood a chance as the Mocs ran away with things.

The Moccasins (20-3, 15-2 SSC) defeated the Panthers of Florida Tech (9-13, 6-10 SSC), 58-50, on Saturday night inside Jenkins Field House. The Mocs used a stifling defensive effort to overcome a sluggish offensive performance.

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College women's basketball will host its annual Pink Game on Saturday, Feb. 10 when it hosts Sunshine State Conference rival Florida Tech at 5:30 p.m. at Jenkins Field House. The team will warm up in special pink t-shirts, and all fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game to support the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in its mission to eradicate breast cancer.

    WINTER PARK, FL - Anja Fuchs-Robetin recorded her first career triple-double as Florida Southern College defeated Rollins, 78-69, at Warden Arena on Wednesday night. The triple-double was the fourth in women's basketball history and the first since Kelly Charron recorded two just 11 days apart during the 1994-95 season. The Moccasins (19-3, 14-2 SSC) took the lead four minutes into the game and never fell behind to snag the win over the Tars (11-11, 6-10 SSC).

Fuchs-Robetin, who was the conference Player of the Week on Nov. 13 and Jan. 22, most recently earned SSC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Jan. 8 and was also the Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 27.

The Moccasins (18-3, 13-2 SSC) built a 23-18 lead after one quarter and used a stifling defensive effort in the second quarter to pull away from the Buccaneers (15-7, 8-6) and take a two-game lead in the conference standings after second-place Embry-Riddle lost at Nova Southeastern on Saturday.

    LAKELAND, FL - Anja Fuchs-Robetin came up with a huge block at the end of the first overtime and Florida Southern College women's basketball was able to outlast Eckerd, 85-78, in a double-overtime victory on Wednesday night at Jenkins Field House. The Moccasins (17-3, 12-2 SSC) picked up their 10th-straight win and remained atop the Sunshine State Conference standings while the Tritons (15-6, 9-5) had their four-game win streak snapped.
