Tianni Kelly is in her second year as an assistant coach with Florida Southern women's basketball. In her first season with the Moccasins, she helped coach a pair of WBCA Honorable Mention all-Americans (Anja Fuchs-Robetin & Camille Giardina), as well as the SSC Player of the Year (Fuchs Robetin). The Moccasins finihed 25-5 in Kelly's first season alongside head coach Betsy Harris, capturing both the Sunshine State Conference regular-season and tournament titles to earn their third-straight bid to the NCAA Tournament.
During her first season at Florida Southern, Kelly was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Thirty Under 30 list which recognizes some of the top young coache across college basketball.
Kelly came to Florida Southern after spending three seasons as an assistant at her alma mater, the University of Charleston (WV). In her three seasons at UC, Kelly helped lead the Golden Eagles to 50 victories, including three-straight trips to the Mountain East Conference tournament. She helped coach six all-MEC selections and one CoSIDA/Capital One Academic all-America selection (Nichole Perry - 2015).
Prior to joining the coaching staff at UC Kelly spent five seasons with the Golden Eagles as a forward, making two appearances in the NCAA Division II Tournament (2011, 2014) and winning the 2011 WVIAC regular-season title. A 2014 graduate of the University of Charleston with a degree in business and sport administration, Kelly also earned her masters in business and leadership from UC in 2015. She is the older sister of former Moccasin men's basketball standout Tyler Kelly.
