As a junior (2016-17)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played in all 11 tournaments, and enters her senior year having played 34 of a possible 35 in her career… Second on the team to Amanda Gartrell with a 77.30 stroke average… Led the Moccasins with five top-10 finishes… Had two of those top-10s to close out the season, tying for eighth at the Argonaut Invitational (April 3-4) and tying for fourth at the Sunshine State Conference Championships (April 23-25)… Had a seventh-place finish at the Barton Invitational at Kiawah Island (Feb. 4-5) to start the spring with her other top-10s coming in the fall at the Lady Falcon Invitational (Sept. 17-18) and Nova Southeastern GolfRank Invitational (Oct. 24-25)… Had a career-best 3-round score of six-over par 222 (74-71-77) at the SSC Championships, with her one-under par 71 in round two another career-best… Ended the season with 14 of her final 15 rounds in the 70s…  Finished with the Mocs’ best total score in the Saint Leo Invitational (Oct. 17-18) and the SSC Championships, was tied for the team’s top position at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational (March 13-14), and was number two in four other tournaments… Team counter in all but two of her 27 rounds, the best percentage on the team, and posted the Mocs’ top score in six of them.

As a sophomore (2015-16)… Sunshine State Conference Golfer-of-the-Week for February 28… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Team MVP… Played in all but one of a possible 12 tournaments and was an individual qualifier for the NCAA Division II South Super Regional along with Shannon McKew… Nine of her 11 tournaments came with the main team, one came with the “B” team (the Lady Falcon Invitational), and one came as an individual at the NCAA Super Regional… Led the Moccasins with a 78.41 stroke average, finishing 0.28 strokes ahead of McKew… Tied with McKew for the team lead in top-10 finishes with three… Had one top-five when she tied for fifth in a field of 85 golfers at the Tusculum/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate (Feb. 6-7) with a 156 (76-80)… Other top-10’s came when she tied for sixth out of 48 at the Lady Falcon Invitational hosted by Daytona State (Sept. 19-20) with a 154 (80-74), and when she tied for 10th out of 66 golfers at the NCAA Super Regional (May 2-4) with a 226 (78-72-76)… Her 72 in the second round of the regional tournament was a season-low… Finished four shots behind a qualifying spot for the National Finals… Prior to regionals, tied for 17th at the Sunshine State Conference Championships at Crandon Bay at Key Biscayne (April 17-19) with a total score of 240 (76-85-79), a 15-spot improvement from her freshman year… Including her tournament with the “B” team, was Florida Southern’s top golfer in three of the 10 events she played in as a team member… Team counter in all 24 of her rounds with the Mocs’ top team, and had their best score or tied for the best score in eight of them… In addition to her college tournaments was also selected to play as an amateur in the 8th Annual Florida’s Natural Charity Classic as a sponsor’s exemption for the Symetra Tour event held in Lake Wales.

As a freshman (2014-15)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… One of two Moccasins (Emily Rymer was the other) to play in all 12 tournaments… Began her college career playing as an individual at the Ross Resorts Invitational (Sept. 15-16) before moving into the regular lineup for the remainder of the season… Second to Rymer on the team with a 78.19 stroke average, making her one of the top freshmen in the SSC… Her .666 winning percentage was also second on the team to Rymer… Had a counting score in 25 of her 28 rounds with the team… Had the Mocs’ top score or was tied for the top score in seven rounds, one of them the final round of the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament… Twice tied Rymer for the top spot on the team in a tournament, one of them the Lady Moc Classic (Feb. 16-17) where they were tied for 13th with identical scores of 231 (74-76-81)… Also tied for 19th with Rymer at the Barry University Invitational (March 16-17) with a score of 225 (74-75-76)… Was the Moccasins’ top golfer in her first career tournament though she was playing in the Ross Resorts Invitational as an individual (fifth freshman in team history to place in the top-10 in her college debut)… Had a 230 (77-72-81) to finish eighth out of 48 golfers in that tournament… Though that was her only top-10 finish of the season, had three other top-20’s and twice finished 21st… In the 70’s in five of her six postseason rounds, including all three during the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament… Tied for 32nd at the SSC Tournament with a 240 (86-75-79), and was tied for 30th at the regional tournament with a 232 (77-79-76) where she had one of two eagles for the Moccasins in the opening round.

In high school… Joined the Moccasins as a 2014 graduate of Walton High School in Georgia… 4-year letter winner for head coach Richard Myrick… 4-time first team all-county, and a 4-time All-State selection… Placed in the top-15 of the State Tournament all four years of her high school career… Named the Cobb County Girls Golfer-of-the-Year as a sophomore, junior, and senior… Had a 75.4 stroke average as a senior when she won the region title with a 76, and followed that with a 73 at the sectional tournament… Helped Walton finish as the Class 6A runner-up, the best finish in team history… Led the Raiders to a fifth-place finish at the State Tournament as a junior, a year in which she also won the Georgia Peach Tournament… Helped the Raiders place sixth at the State Tournament as a sophomore… Graduated with honors… Personal… Daughter of Steve and Lesia Williams… Has one older brother (Cameron)… In addition to playing golf at Florida Southern, also serves as a writer for the school paper, The Southern, and is a member of the Florida Southern Sports Network… Interned at WSB-TV in Atlanta… Born March 28, 1996… Broadcast, Print and Online Media Major with a minor in Business.
