Rachael Griffith joined the Florida Southern College women's lacrosse staff in 2016 as a student assistant coach after four seasons as a defender for the Moccasins (2012-16). She played in 71 games during her career, making 57 starts.
In her first season as a coach with the Moccasins, Griffith helped head coach Kara Reber lead the team to an NCAA Division II runner-up finish, a third-straight Sunshine State Conference regular-season title, six all-America selections, and eight all-conference selections.
She tallied three goals, 110 ground balls and 88 caused turnovers in her four years. She was a third-team IWLCA all-American as a senior, helping lead the Moccasins to an NCAA Division II national championship in 2016, and also second-team IWLCA all-South Region honors.
Griffith was chosen to play in the 2016 IWLCA North-South All-Star Game, and served as a team captain during her senior year. She was also named to the Sunshine State Conference all-tournament team in 2016, and earned all-SSC honors in 2015 and 2016.
