Cantor Named MVP of FSC Women's Track Team

Freshman Addison Cantor has been named the Florida Southern women's track team MVP by Moccasin coach Stephanie Bylander.

The Davidson, N.C. native set the Florida Southern school record in the 10,000-meter event with a 37:12.65 time at the Bison Outdoor Classic on April 14, 2018 in her first collegiate 10K.

Cantor set the Moccasin school record in the 5000-meter with a 17:55.70 time at the UT Ryan McCall Invitational on March 2 and proceeded to twice break her own record. She first topped her mark with a 17:42.57 at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge on March 16 and then eclipsed that mark with a 17:39.65 a the Pepsi Florida Relayts on March 29. 

She also competed in the 3000m, posting the third fastest mark in FSC history with a 10:41.46 at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance Classic on Feb. 17.
