    LAKELAND, FL (9/14/17) - We are pleased to share with you that as of this morning we now have power in almost all buildings across campus. What wonderful news! We are still waiting for power to come on in Colony Arms Apartments, Roberts Academy, and a few FSC houses surrounding the campus. We will continue to communicate updates as they become available and will accommodate any student who lives in one of these locations if power is still not restored when they return to campus.

    NEW ORLEANS – The Florida Southern women's cross country team remained at number seven in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Regional Poll released Tuesday. The Moccasins, ranked seventh in the preseason poll on Aug. 29, stayed steady after a third-place finish at the Holloway Park Preseason Festival on Sept. 2.

    LAKELAND, FL - Sophomore Hannah Nelson turned in a time of 11:29.05 to finish in 16th place in the women's 3K at the Holloway Park Preseason Festival held here Saturday at the Holloway Park and Nature Preserve. Florida Southern finished in third place in the NCAA Division II portion of the 11-team field.

    NEW ORLEANS – The Florida Southern women's cross country team opens the 2017 season ranked seventh in the preseason South Regional Poll as released Tuesday by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Moccasins finished in eighth place at the 2016 NCAA South Region Meet. The 2017 NCAA South Regional Championship will be held Nov. 4 at Lakeland's Holloway Park and Nature Preserve.
  • Women's Cross Country Team Ready To Start Season at Sept. 2 Home Meet

    The Florida Southern men's and women's cross country teams will get the 2017 season underway this Saturday, Sept. 2, with the Holloway Park Preseason Festival, co-hosted with Southeastern University, at Lakeland's Holloway Park and Nature Preserve. The men's 5K starts the day's festivities at 7:30 a.m. with the women's 3K to follow at 8 a.m. A 5K fundraiser for both FSC and SEU alumni will cap the morning's activities at 8:30.

    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College men's and women's cross country will host the annual Holloway Park Preseason Festival on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Holloway Park in Lakeland. The action gets started as the Moccasins compete in their first meet of the year beginning at 7:30 a.m., and the college meet will be followed by an alumni and open race.
