LAKELAND, FL - The Moccasins women's cross country team will look to improve on last year's eighth-place finish as Florida Southern College and Central Florida's Polk County Sports Marketing host the NCAA Division II South Region men's and women's cross country championships this Saturday, Nov. 4, here at Holloway Park and Nature Preserve (2402 Holloway Park Drive). The women's 6K will get the day started at 8:30 a.m. with the men's 10K to follow at 9:45 a.m. Admission is free but the park charges $5 for parking.
BOCA RATON, FL - Sophomore Hannah Nelson and freshman Hannah Flemming placed 15th and 16th, respectively, as Florida Southern finished in fifth place at the Sunshine State Conference Women's Cross Country Championship held here Saturday at the South Central Regional Park.

TALLAHASSEE, FL - Sophomore Hannah Nelson finished in sixth place in the College Division (non-Division I teams) with a personal-best time of 19:25.0 to lead Florida Southern to a runner-up finish in the Florida State University Invitational held here Friday at the Apalachee Regional Park. The Moccasins totaled 78 points in the 15-team non-Division I portion of the Invitational to finish second behind Tampa, which won with 35 points.
