Tillman Becomes Third Moccasin Summer League All-Star

FSC's Daniel Tillman is the third Moccasin player to make his league's all-star team this summer.

Tillman will be on the West squad representing Cotuit for the Cape Cod League All-Star Game that will be played July 23 at Fenway Park in Boston.

In nine appearances for Cotuit so far this season, Tillman has not allowed a run in 12.2 innings, while striking out 16 and walking 7. His coach is Mike Roberts, former Florida Southern athletics director.  Two of Tillman's FSC teammates, Max Russell and Zach Maggard, also are playing for Cotuit this summer.

In addition to Tillman's all-star selection, Trae Gore and Colin Kish were named to the all-star team in their respective summer leagues.  Gore plays for Leesburg in the Florida Collegiate Summer League and he leads the league in batting with a .379 mark. The FCSL all-star game was scheduled for July 15, but was rained out. Kish participated in the Cal Ripken, Sr. League All-Star Game in Maryland Wednesday, drawing a walk as a pinch hitter in his only at-bat.
