LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College men's tennis cruised to its third-straight win on Wednesday, defeating Davis & Elkins, 6-1. The Moccasins (3-5) dominated in doubles play against the Senators (2-4) and won five of the six singles flights in two sets or less to take the match.
Miroslav Cvjetan won his fourth-straight singles flight with a pair of 6-4 sets against Andrew Shand, improving his record to 6-2 in all singles flights and 2-2 at the No. 3 flight. Hikaru Nagoshi earned his first win as a Moccasin by defeating Jacob Bowman 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 6 singles flight. Tim Becker dominated with Brian Pham in the No. 1 doubles flight with a 6-0 victory and won his No. 1 singles flight, playing a combined 23 games in singles and doubles and allowing only four games to the Senators.
