LAKELAND - Wednesday night's softball doubleheader vs. Simon Fraser, the Moccasins' 2014 home opener, was cancelled due to severe weather. The teams were sent to the locker rooms after the lineup cards were exchanged with lightning in the area, and heavy rain began falling approximately 20 minutes later. The games will not re-scheduled. Florida Southern's next games will be on Tuesday, February 18 in a 5 p.m. doubleheader at Flagler College.
