MIAMI, Fla. – The Florida Southern College beach volleyball program dropped a pair of matches to the 13
th ranked team in the country, Florida International, by scores of 5-0 and 4-1. Both matches were part of FIU's Beach Bash tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Match #1
- The No. 2 tandem of senior Erica Ronda and sophomore Celia Greco played well, dropping their match in three sets, 19-21, 21-9, 17-15.
Match #2
- With Ronda and Greco moved up to first, junior Kayla Trefren and sophomore Haley Goodrich won their match at second, 24-22, 21-18.
UP NEXT
Florida Southern will host Eckerd and Palm Beach Atlantic next Saturday, March 27.
