Stoller, Tare, and McFerren Earn IWLCA All-America Honors

LAKELAND, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced it's 2024 All-American teams which Florida Southern College placed three student-athletes on the teams. Jackie Stoller repeats as a First Team selection while Madison Tare and Abby McFerren earn Second Team honors for the 2024 season.

All three standouts were named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America teams as well as First Team All-Sunshine State Conference (SSC) earlier this postseason. The trio were previously IWLCA All-South Region First Team selections. Stoller earns her second straight IWLCA First Team selection while Tare moves to Second Team after a 2023 Third Team nod as McFerren earns her first IWLCA All-America accolade joining the Second Team.

Jackie Stoller, a graduate student from Wayland, Mass., capped off one of the most decorated careers in just two seasons she's a four-time First Team All-American from the IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine. This season she earned her second straight SSC Player of the Year, being changed to Attack Player of the Year in 2024, where she was also back-to-back first team all-league. She rewrote the record book in her final season breaking the single-season individual goals record (78) and points (122). In just two years and 43 games played, she registered a point in all 43 games and scored at least one goal in 42-of-43 games, with a career-best seven goals twice in 2024.

Madison Tare, a graduate student from Etters, Pa., earned her fourth All-American nod as well capping her career as a second team honoree in 2024. Tare closes her career ranked third in program history in goals scored (182), fifth in points (250), and second in hattricks (37) while her 2024 numbers crack the top 10 individual single-season records in goals (64), points (85), hattricks (13), and free position goals (14). She concludes a five-year career earning a point (goal or assist) in 59 straight games which includes all of the 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons.

Abby McFerren, a senior from York, Pa., adds her first IWLCA All-American honors, second team, where she was named an Honorable Mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine a few weeks prior. McFerren is a three-time All-Sunshine State Conference selection and is a two-time First Team IWLCA All-South Region honoree. A three-year player, McFerren has registered a point in 59 of her 61 games played. She finished the 2024 season third in goals (40) and points (75) while she is second in assists (35). McFerren will look to her final year of eligibility with 61 games played and a career mark of 211 points on 125 goals and 86 assists.

The Mocs represent three of the 10 Sunshine State Conference student-athletes to make up the list of IWLCA All-Americans with four named from Tampa, three from FSC and one each from Rollins, Lynn, and Embry-Riddle.
