2024 Jackie Stoller IWLCA Attacker of the Year

Stoller Honored as IWLCA Attacker of the Year

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) named four 2024 All-Americans from Division II as positional Players of the Year. Florida Southern graduate student Jackie Stoller was named the IWLCA Attacker of the Year capping her career as a Moccasin.
 
Jackie Stoller, just the second student-athlete to garner the Attacker of the Year honor from the IWLCA in program history, is a four-time IWLCA and USA Lacrosse First Team All-American capped her career with a stellar 2024 season. The Wayland, Mass. native was named the Sunshine State Conference Attacker of the Year, earning her second straight major award from the league, while also rewriting the record books breaking the single-season individual goals record (78) and points in a season (122). In just two seasons on the Moccasins' roster, she played and registered at least one point in all 43 career games. She scored at least one goal in 42-of-43 games in her career with a career-best seven goals twice in 2024.
 
In 2024, Stoller played and started all 21 games with a run to the NCAA Quarterfinals where she posted 122 points on 78 goals and 44 assists. She had a season-shooting percentage of .557 where she landed 112 of her 140 shots on goal for a .800 shots-on-goal percentage. She had four game-winning goals with a team-best 15 free position goals. She scooped up 25 groundballs and had 16 caused turnovers on the season, leading the Moccasins to a 16-5 overall record and a perfect 7-0 record in league play capturing the program's 11th overall Sunshine State Conference title, the seventh regular season title.
 
She closed her book on collegiate lacrosse as a two-time IWLCA First Team All-American (2023 and 2024), two-time USA Lacrosse Magazine First Team All-American (2023 and 2024), two-time SSC First Team honoree (2023 and 2024), SSC Player of the Year (2023) and Attacker of the Year (2024), the Florida Southern College Lois Webb Female Athlete of the Year (2022-23), the SSC Woman of the Year (2023), and the Polk County Female Collegiate Athlete of the Year (2023).
 
Stoller joins Meghan O'Brien (2018) as the lone two players in program history to earn the Attacker of the Year honors from the IWLCA. O'Brien went on to earn the only National Player of the Year honor in 2018 for the program while they are two of seven players to earn national awards from the IWLCA in Emily Santoli as the Midfielder of the Year in 2016 and 2017, Sam Keesey (2019) and Gina Verrone (2023) as Defenders of the Year, and Katie Hemmerer the C. Markland Kelly Awar, the Goalie of the Year (2013 and 2014). Head Coach Kara Reber was tabbed the 2016 National Coach of the Year after guiding the team to the 2016 National Championship along with Assistant Coach of the Year Marissa Higgins that same year.
