LAKELAND, Fla. – Florida Southern College softball, led by sixth-year head coach
Mo Triner, has officially announced its 2026 schedule a 48-game slate featuring a competitive mix of regional opponents, premier non-conference matchups, and a demanding Sunshine State Conference lineup. The Mocs will host 25 games at Chris Bellotto Field and embark on several key road trips as they prepare for another highly competitive season in NCAA Division II softball.
"We built this schedule with intention," Triner said. "It challenges us early on the road, gives us competitive regional games, and prepares us for the depth and intensity of the Sunshine State Conference. Our team has been working hard, and we're excited to compete together, grow together, and create a memorable 2026 season."
Florida Southern officially opens its schedule on January 31 with a road doubleheader at Georgia Southwestern. The opening weekend continues on February 1 at Georgia College, where the Mocs will face Young Harris before taking on the host Bobcats later that afternoon.
FSC then travels to Georgia for the Red-White-Blue Classic on February 6–7, a challenging four-game stretch that includes contests against Auburn Montgomery, Tuskegee, Wingate, and Columbus State. The Mocs return to Lakeland for their home opener on February 20–21, hosting Rollins for a three-game Sunshine State Conference series. The team follows that with a road trip to Florida Tech on February 27–28.
March brings a busy home slate as Florida Southern welcomes four opponents during spring break, hosting doubleheaders against Lander on March 3, Adelphi on March 6, Wheeling on March 7, and Southwest Minnesota State on March 10. The Mocs continue SSC play with a home series against Barry on March 13–14 and a midweek doubleheader against Hillsdale on March 18. The team then heads to Eckerd for a three-game series on March 20–21.
A key rivalry weekend awaits in early April as the Mocs host Tampa for a single game on April 2 and a doubleheader on April 3. Florida Southern then travels to Saint Leo for an SSC matchup on April 10–11 before returning home to face Palm Beach Atlantic on April 17–18. The final road series of the regular season takes the Mocs to Lynn on April 24–25. The team will then travel to Nova Southeastern for a single game on April 30 and a doubleheader on May 1.
The Mocs close the regular season at home with a highly anticipated Senior Day weekend, hosting a doubleheader on May 8 and the series finale on May 9 against Embry-Riddle.
