AS A SENIOR (2019-20)
HONORS: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award… took tenth in the 1000-free in the Shark Invitational (Oct. 12) with a time of 10:02.16… placed eighth in the 500-free and took fourth in the 1,650-free (16:12.98) in the Panther Invite (Nov. 22-24)… placed third in the 1,000-free against Indian River (Jan. 24) at 9:46.09.
AS A JUNIOR (2018-19)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award… won his first race as a Moccasin by swimming the 1,000-free in 9:50.31… at the Panther Invite, won the 1650-free in 16:02.57, an NCAA provisional qualifying time… at the Spartan Invitational, placed 16th in the 1000 with his own season-best time of 9:37.85… against Indian River State, placed third in the 1,000.
At SUNY Oswego (2016-18)… Swam two seasons at Division III SUNY Oswego in New York… Six-time State University of New York Athletic Conference Swimmer-of-the-Week… 2017 and 2018 SUNYAC Champion in the 1650-free… School record holder in the 1000-free and 1650-free... Was also a member of the Dean’s List during the fall of 2017 and spring 2018.
In high school… 2016 graduate of American School of Madrid in Spain… Also swam for Real Canoe N.C…. National Junior Champion in Spain at the 1st Spanish Cup of Open Waters.
Personal… Son of Rosanne and Javier Rodriguez… Has one younger brother, Tomas… Chose FSC for the great opportunities in both the classroom and the pool… Lists Liverpool F.C. as his favorite team and Mo Salah as his favorite athlete… Enjoys watching Netflix and FIFA during his spare time.
