AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-20)
HONORS: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … placed second in the 200-free relay at 1:25.08 in the Shark Invitational (Oct. 11)… took second in the 50-free, racing to a 21.79 time, and was third in the 100-fly in 52.03 against Rollins (Oct. 18)… took second in the 100-fly against Saint Leo (Nov. 2)… was a part of the winning relay in the 200-free, took third in the 50-yard sprint (21.21), finished third in the 100-fly (50.20), and came in fifth in the 100-backstroke (59.19)  in the Panther Invite (Nov. 22-24)… took ninth in the 100-butterfly at 49.57 in the Spartan Invite (Dec. 19)… took third in the 50-free (21.70) against No. 2 Emory (Jan. 10)… took third in the 200-free (46.92) against No. 6 Nova Southeastern (Jan. 11)… came in eighth-place with a time of 49.62 in the 100-fly in the SSC Championship Meet.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… against Emory, picked up his first win as a Moccasin in the 100-butterfly with a winning time of 51.52.

In high school… 2018 graduate of Citrus High School in Inverness, Florida where he swam and was also a member of the weightlifting team… Three-time recipient of the St. Claire award… During his four years on the team, broke nine individual school records… State finalist in the 50-free and 100-fly as a senior… State finalist in the 50-free as a junior… Also swam for Hilltoppers of Inverness... Personal… Given name is Jordan, but goes by JJ… Son of Becky and Gary Saslo… Has one older brother (Justin) and two older sisters (Carly and Bryn)… Decided to attend FSC for the great academic and athletic programs… Lists the Pittsburg Steelers as his favorite team and Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster as his favorite athletes… Enjoys skim boarding and water sports during his free time.
