INDOOR
Competed in three of the Moccasins’ five indoor meets … saw action in the mile, 3,000m, and 5,000m … top individual finish came in the 5,000m as he finished ninth at the RADD Sports College Invitational … top season times included 4:33.55 (mile), 9:05.54 (3,000m) and 15:52.12 (5,000m).
 
OUTDOOR
Competed in five of the Moccasins’ nine outdoor meets … saw action in the 3,000m and 5,000m … top individual finish was 28^th at the Bob Hayes Invitational in the 5,000m … posted the eighth-best 3,000m time on the squad in 2024 … top season times included 9:25.97 (3,000m) and 16:00.56 (5,000m).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
INDOOR
Saw action in two indoor meets for the Moccasins … competed in both the 800m and 5,000m … top individual finish was 11^th at the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic in the 5,000m … posted the 10^th-best 5,000m time on the team at 16:22.57 … earned a season-low time of 2:10.97 in the 800m.
 
OUTDOOR
Saw action in one meet for the Moccasins … competed in the 3,000m … finished 12^th at the Tampa Track Classic … turned in a time of 9:19.38 which ranked as the top 3,000m time this season for the Mocs.

AS A FRESHMAN (2022)
Competed in five meets for the Mocs … earned two top-10 finishes … took fourth at the UCF Knights Invite in the 3000m … placed eighth overall in the 10000m at the Sunshine State Meet … earned the ninth best 10000m time in 2022 for the Mocs of 35:57.91 … posted PRs in 3000m (9:20.43), 5000m (16:02.34) and 10000m (35:57.91).

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Gaither High School … competed in cross country, track and wrestling … earned a state qualifier spot in wrestling … top times in XC and track are 18:03 in the 5K and 4:56 in the 1600m.
 
PERSONAL
Son of Scott and Rachel Simpson … has a brother, Bill ... father, Scott, was on the FSC water ski team … mother, Rachel, was on the FSC tennis team … favorite professional sports team in the Tampa Bay Rays … favorite athlete is Chael Sonnen … enjoys playing guitar and writing when not out running.
