Primary Insurance
All FSC students are required to have personal health insurance. This is considered the student-athlete's primary insurance. All medical bills will be processed through the primary insurance.

Secondary Insurance
If an injury is athletic-related (occurring as a direct result of participation in a supervised FSC team practice, supervised weight lifting or conditioning session or competition), it will be processed through the primary insurance first and then through our secondary excess insurance policy.

Bills
If a student-athlete receives a bill for an athletic-related injury, it is to be submitted to the FSC Insurance Coordinator within 30 days of the statement date. Florida Southern College and Florida Southern College Athletics DO NOT receive bills from providers' offices for any student-athlete, therefore, it is imperative that when/if a student-athlete receives a bill, it is submitted to the FSC Insurance Coordinator within 30 days.

Failure to comply will result in the bill becoming the full financial responsibility of the student-athlete.
