Florida Southern College

To ensure a safe, professional, and organized environment for student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans, Florida Southern College Athletics has established the following media credentialing and access policies:

Credential Requests

• All requests for media access (photography, videography, reporting, etc.) must be submitted in advance to the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and Creative Media, Brittany Iamele, via email at biamele@flsouthern.edu.
• Requests should be made at least 48 hours prior to the contest to allow for proper review and approval.
• Credentials are issued on a game-by-game or season-long basis at the discretion of the Florida Southern College Athletic Communications Office.

Visiting Team Media

• Media members affiliated with visiting teams must also request credentials in advance through designated athletic communications sport contacts.
• Requests from visiting teams should come through the Sports Information Director (SID) or another official athletic communications contact from the visiting institution whenever possible.
• Approved visiting media will receive the same access and guidelines as credentialed local media, subject to space limitations and venue restrictions.
• Florida Southern College reserves the right to limit or deny access based on working space availability, safety concerns, or failure to comply with guidelines.
   

Game Day Access

• Only individuals with an official credential issued by Florida Southern Athletics will be permitted on the field, court, or designated media access areas.
• Credentials are non-transferable and must be visible at all times while in restricted areas.
• Anyone without a credential found in restricted areas will be asked to move immediately by athletic staff or security.
   

Professional Conduct

• Credentialed media members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times and must follow instructions from Florida Southern College Athletics staff.
• Media access may be revoked at any time for failure to comply with these guidelines or for behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive.  

Additional Notes

• Space may be limited depending on the venue, and credential distribution will reflect working media needs first.
• Florida Southern College reserves the right to deny or revoke credentials at its discretion.
• Requests for interviews with athletes, coaches, and other athletics staff require prior approval through the athletic communications office. 
• Credentials may be picked up from the ticket table.
