Brandon Parramore was named the Director of Esports at Florida Southern in the summer of 2023. Parramore joined Florida Southern after a year as the head coach at the University of Montevallo.
While at UM, Parramore oversaw a program that featured over 35 student-athletes and competed in League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant and Rocket League. Prior to taking over the Esports role, Parramore spent a year and a half as an assistant swim coach and recruiting coordinator at UM. He helped guide the UM men's swimming team to a 3.30 GPA while also recruiting the future Falcon swimmers.
Parramore is also a competitive Esports athlete himself having competed on a top-10 ranked North American Guild in World of Warcraft. He helped his team to a third-place finish at the 2022 World of Warcraft North America Mythic Dungeon Invitational as well as a sixth-place finish in Cup B at the 2023 World of Warcraft Global Mythic Dungeon Invitational.
Parramore, a native of Gainesville, Fla., saw his younger brother Dylan matriculate through the FSC Esports program and saw a future in Esports for himself. Dylan spent four years as a member of the Esports program at Florida Southern and gave Brandon the idea of taking his love for Esports and two college degrees to make his way into the collegiate Esports field. After a year with the Montevallo Esports program, he is was ready to lead his home state program here at Florida Southern.
Parramore is a 2019 graduate of Quachita Baptist University where he received a bachelor's of arts in business administration. He went on to earn a master's of science in sports management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2021.
