AS A JUNIOR (2016)
HONORS: Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … Started 17 games in the outfield and was the only Moccasin to start games at all three of those positions (two in left, 11 in center, four in right) ... Gave Florida Southern a 2-1 walk-off win in the first game of a doubleheader against Spring Hill when she delivered a 1-out, base-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh inning (Feb. 10) ... Had already thrown a runner out at second in the top half of the seventh inning trying to pick up an extra base ... Had two hits and one RBI in the Mocs’ 5-3 win at Lynn, with her RBI single in the third inning giving the Mocs a 3-2 lead before picking up another single in the fifth inning when they took the lead for good (Feb. 20) ... Also gave Florida Southern the lead with an RBI single at Florida Tech in the first game of that series though the Panthers eventually won 2-1 in 10 innings (April 1) ... Drove in the Mocs’ first run again in the opening game of the Nova Southeastern series, leading to a 6-1 victory (April 15) ... Went 2-for-3 with the bases loaded.
AT PASCO-HERNANDO STATE COLLEGE (2014-15)
HONORS: 2015 Academic All-State … 2014 Academic All-State ... 2-year starter for head coach Tom Ryan at Pasco-Hernando State College in New Port Richey, Florida ... Hit .371 (73-for-197) in her career for the Conquistadors with 22 steals in 24 attempts, five doubles, three triples, and 25 RBI ... Also drew a total of 37 walks at Pasco-Hernando, which helped her put together a .468 on-base percentage ... Led the Conquistadors in batting as a sophomore when she hit .393 (46-for-117), with two doubles, two triples, 14 RBI, 22 walks and 15 stolen bases in 16 attempts ... Ranked sixth in the state of Florida with a .489 on-base percentage ... Had 13 multi-hit games, three of them with three hits, and one with four (at St. John’s River on March 5, where she was also 5-for-5 with two walks in the doubleheader) ... Had four stolen bases in a game against Owens Community College on March 9 and was successful on her last 13 attempts ... Hit .338 (27-for-80) as a freshman with a .448 on-base percentage, three doubles, one triple and 11 RBI ... Had a pair of 3-hit games, giving her five in her junior college career.
In high school… 2013 graduate of Nature Coast Technical High School in Brooksville… Played four years of softball for four different coaches there, including Ernie Chatman… All-Hernando County as a senior when she hit .333 (29-for-87), had 23 RBI and scored 25 runs… Also a member of the weightlifting team and was a state qualifier in 2011… Honors graduate from Nature Coast… Played travel ball for the Lutz Lightning for five years where she was coached by Ron Scios (father of current Florida Southern teammate Annmarie Scios)… Personal… Daughter of Tammy and Richard Mackiewicz… Has one older sister (Kelly) and one older brother (Colin)… Mentions the Tampa Bay Rays as her favorite pro sports team… Born 9/6/94… Criminology major.
