AS A JUNIOR (2016)
HONORS: Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll ... One of two players on the roster who played in all 46 games (Jordan Alexander, who graduated in 2016, was the other), and started all but one game ... Made 37 starts at third base, seven at second base and one as the designated player ... Spent most of the year hitting #2 or #3 in the batting order, but took over the third slot full-time in mid-March ... Led the Moccasins in batting average (.340), on-base percentage (.383), slugging (.454), hits (48), and doubles (16), and was tied with Jessica Trana for the team lead in RBI (18) ... Also tied for the team lead with Zierra Flodman with seven sacrifice bunts ... Third on the team with 11 walks and received the Mocs’ only two intentional walks ... Her 16 doubles were the most in the Sunshine State Conference and at one point had a double in four straight games ... Struck out only eight times in 141 at-bats (once every 17.8), making her the third most difficult player in the SSC to strike out (tied with Rollins’ Hailee Keisling, and behind only Megan Copeland of Barry and Leanne Wright of Lynn) ... Hit .385 (30-for-78) in conference play, again the best average on the team, with nine walks for a .443 on-base percentage ... Nine of her 30 hits went for doubles ... Hit safely in all three games of SSC series with Lynn, Rollins, Barry, Tampa and Eckerd ... Had her best series in the season finale against Eckerd, going 6-for-10 with two walks and two doubles ... Had a team-best .366 batting average with runners in scoring position (15-for-41) and a .403 average with runners on base (25-for-62) ... Led the Moccasins with 15 multi-hit games, and had a season-high three hits in 4-2 win at Nova Southeastern (April 16) ... Had three straight 2-hit games to end the season in the Mocs’ 3-game series with Eckerd (April 29-30) ... Had two different games with three RBI, the first in a 7-0 win over Western Ontario (Feb. 16) and the second in an 8-5 win over Barry (March 12), the only two games in which a Florida Southern player had three RBI during the 2016 season ... Hit .415 (17-for-41) in the Moccasins’ 12 games in April and had two or more hits in seven of those games ... Owned two of the three longest hitting streaks of the season for Florida Southern, with a team-best 10 game streak from Feb. 16-March 1 where she batted .438 (14-for-32) with five doubles and eight RBI ... Ended the season with a 7-game hitting streak where she hit .591 (13-for-22) with three doubles and three RBI, and had three walks for a .640 on-base percentage ... Led the team with 77 assists while playing both third and second base ... Did not commit an error in any of her eight games (seven starts) at second base and had just five overall in her 44 games playing either second or third ... Made only one error in 24 conference games covering 80 chances.
AT POLK STATE COLLEGE (2014-15)
HONORS: 2015 Second Team All-State as a catcher... 2015 First Team All-Suncoast Conference ... 2014 Second Team All-Suncoast Conference as an infielder… 2014 Gulf District All-Tournament Team … 2-year starter at Polk State College in Winter Haven for head coach Jeff Ellis, where she was a 2-time all-conference selection ... Had a total of 120 hits in her junior college career, batting .368, with a .424 on-base percentage, 22 doubles, one triple, eight home runs and 66 RBI ... Struck out just 14 times in 326 at-bats and 369 trips to the plate ... Owned a team-leading .354 batting average (52-for-147) as a sophomore with a team-high 14 doubles, three home runs and 28 RBI in addition to a .427 on-base percentage ... Also led the Eagles in runs scored (36), walks (19) and slugging (.510) ... Tied for second on the team in home runs and was third in RBI ... Also went 5-for-5 on stolen bases and struck out just nine times in 147 at-bats and 172 plate appearances ... Put together an 11-game hitting streak from March 12-April 2 after a 9-game streak to start her sophomore season ... Had 14 multi-hit games with a career-high four hits against South Florida State on March 17 ... Went 6-for-7 with two walks and five RBI in that doubleheader ... Ended her sophomore year by going 4-for-6 with a home run and three walks in three games at the state junior college tournament ... As a freshman hit .380 with eight doubles, a triple, five home runs and 38 RBI, and a .421 on-base percentage ... Batting average was fourth on the team but the best among the Eagles’ freshmen ... Had just five strikeouts in 179 at-bats, for a ratio of about 36-to-1 ... Compiled a career-best 14-game hitting streak from Feb. 19-March 8 ... Had 17 multi-hit games and went 7-for-12 with two walks, two doubles, a home run and four RBI in the state tournament.
