AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-20)... Made his season debut at the Otter Invitational in California, finishing in a tie for 69^th, with rounds of 80-79-80.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19)... SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll... shot a pair of 74’s at the Rod Myers Invitational at Duke… shot a two-over-par 74 in the first round of the head-to-head matchup with Division I Columbia.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2018 graduate of Forest High School in Ocala where he was a member of the varsity golf team… Helped the Wildcats finish as the Class 3A state runner-up as a senior where they fell one shot behind Gulf Coast High School for the state championship… Four-year academic award winner… Began playing as a sophomore after missing his freshman season with a knee injury… Also received the Principal’s Award… Had three top-10 finishes and a pair of top-fives in his four events on the FSGA Tour in 2018 and was under-par or better in five of his nine rounds… Had five top-10 finishes in 2017 and was a quarterfinalist in the Junior Amateur Match Play Tournament for the second year in a row.

PERSONAL: Son of Bill and Monica Wright… Has an older brother, Josh, a younger sister, Hannah, and a younger brother, Nathanael… Josh is also a Florida Southern student… Enjoys reading in his spare time… Lists Tiger Woods as his favorite athlete.
