Son of Andrea and Hal Tryon...chose Florida Southern for the quality of education and opportunity to play hockey...lists favorite professional sports teams as the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and San Antonio Spurs...favorite professional athlete is DeAndre Hopkins...main hobbies and interests outside of athletics are golf and rodeo...an interesting fact about Gaven is that he competed in Rodeo events over the summer...following graduation he would like to attend veterinary school.
