Nick Meyer is in his first season as a student assistant coach after a two-year playing carer as a Moccasin.

Meyer played in a total of 18 games during the 2013 and 2014 seasons at Florida Southern. In 2013, he collected 10 ground balls while going 19-for-39 on faceoffs. Last season he scooped 21 ground balls and won 61.1 percent of his draw attempts (33-for-54). Meyer set personal highs with eight ground balls and 11 faceoff wins on March 8, 2014 against Shorter. He also scored his only career goal on March 18, 2014 against UMass-Boston.

Prior to joining FSC, Meyer played two seasons at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, N.J., in 2010 and 2011. A 2009 graduate of Ocean Township High School in Oakhurst, N.J., Meyer helped Brookdale capture back-to-back Region XIX titles in 2010 and 2011.
