Colt Batie joined the Florida Southern College athletic training office in August 2024.
 
Batie traveled to Lakeland after completing his Master of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While at UT-Chattanooga, Batie worked with the softball, women’s basketball, and football programs. As an athletic training student, Batie spent three months at Covenant College assisting with the baseball, men’s and women’s soccer, and softball programs.
 
While obtaining a bachelor’s degree at UT-Chattanooga, Batie spent the 2023 summer season as an athletic training student at the University of Kentucky with the football team. He also served as a fellowship personal trainer at Onsight Fitness in the summer of 2020.
 
Named to the Dean’s List seven times, Batie was also named INSPIRE Scholar, TN Hope Recipient, seven-time Provost Scholar, and a Chancellor Scholar.
 
Batie completed his bachelor's degree in 2022 and master’s degrees in 2024, both in Athletic Training at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Batie is CPR/AED Certified, OSHA Certified, and FERPA/HIPAA Certified.
