AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-20)
HONORS: CSCAA Scholar All-American … CSCAA First-Team Scholar All-America … SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … CSCAA Division II All-American … All-SSC Second Team … D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award… was a double-winner in the distance events, winning the 1000-free in 9:47.76, and the 500-free in 4:46.95 against Tampa (Oct. 25)… took third in the 500-free (9:52.98) and the 200-IM (2:00.55) against Saint Leo on Nov. 2… finished in second in the 1,650-free in 16:06.04 in the Panther Invite (Nov. 22-24)… came in sixth in the 500-free (4:35.66) in the Spartan Invite (Dec. 19)… in the SSC Championship Meet, he medaled in the 1,000-free by finishing in third with a time of 9:18.85, took fourth in the 500-free (4:30.20) and took second in the 1,650-free in 15:37.05.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19)… All-SSC Second Team, SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll… in the season-opener at Rollins, won the 500-free with a time of 4:48.43… At the Panther Invitational, placed second in the 500-free and placed third in the 1650… against Indian River State, placed second in the 1,000… at the SSC Championships, fiished third in the 500-free, with an NCAA B” time… finished seventh in the 1650 with an NCAA "B" time...

In high school… 2018 graduate of Ozark High School in Ozark, Missouri… 4-time MSHSAA All-State Swimming Honors (200/500 free)… State Champion and 2-time International Qualifier… SWMO Preps 1 Awards Swimmer-of-the-Year… American Family ALL-USA Academic Athlete Performer-of-the-Week… Ozark High School record holder in the 200-free, 500-free, 200-medley relay, 200-free relay, and the 400-free relay… 8-time conference champion… Also competed for Springfield Aquatics… Graduated Summa Cum Laude (4.2 GPA)… Perfect attendance award… Academic Award of Excellence… DECA District Champion... Personal… Son of Matthew and Cami Smith… Has one older brother (Cameron)… Favorite pro team is the Dallas Cowboys, and lists favorite pro athletes as Terrence Williams and Katie Ledecky… Plans to join the United States Coast Guard and become an AST rescue swimmer.
