Biography
As a freshman (2014-15)… Took part in eight meets during the season… Competed in the 100-breaststroke and 200-breastroke in all eight of those meets in addition to the 200-IM in two meets and the 200-freestyle in one… Set all of his personal bests in his three primary events (the two breaststroke races and the 200-IM) at the SSC Championships.
In high school… 2014 graduate of Seminole High School… Also attended Keswick Christian in St. Petersburg from 2010-12… In his two years at Seminole, swam for coach Brent Sunnecks… Honor Roll student in high school… Began swimming in 2012 for West Florida Lightning Aquatics where he was coached by Cashel Mack and was named the program’s most improved swimmer of 2013… Personal… Son of Wayne and Connie Pliss… Has two older brothers (Jon and Aaron) and one younger brother (Noah)… Mentions the Tampa Bay Rays as his favorite pro sports teams… Born November 15, 1995… Major: Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology.
