Was homeschooled in Rhode Island and also participated in swimming.

Son of Peter and Whitney...has four siblings who all compete in collegiate swimming: Blake (Minnesota), Brooke (Minnesota), Elizabeth (FGCU), and Rebecca (Utah)...three of his four sisters have qualified for the Olympic Trials...enjoys fishing, reading, and Olympic lifting in his free time...his favorite athlete is Caeleb Dressel...holds NASM PES certification and plans to become an athletic performance coach after graduation...majoring in Exercise Science.
