Biography
In high school… Graduated from Boca Raton Community High School in 2014… 4-year letterman for Eric Hill and Allan Williams… Helped Boca Raton win the Class 3A State Championship as a junior… Named to the all-area team by the Palm Beach Post as a junior and senior… State qualifier in the 100-butterfly and 200-IM as a senior, and placed 10th in the 100-fly, aiding Boca Raton in its third place finish at the FHSAA 4A State Championships… Helped the 200-freestyle relay team finish as state runner-up, and the 400-freestyle relay team place fourth… As a junior, qualified for the 3A State Championships in the 100-butterfly and 200-IM… In addition to his high school swimming, competed with FAST from 2005-10, and FLA Aquatics from 2010-14, where he was coached by Allan Williams with both club programs… Personal… Son of Rich and Denise Merrill… Has two sisters (Alison and Brenna)… Born November 13, 1995… Major: Business.
