Graduated and swam for Fort Myers High School ...  Was an All American and served as team captain for two years... Achieved the highest points scored on the team for three consecutive years and set a team record in the 200 freestyle relay... Received the student athlete GPA award... Recorded personal bests of 4:30 in the 500 freestyle and 1:40 in the 200 freestyle... Participated in Swim Florida, where standout achievements included a club and pool record with the Charlotte Pirates, finalist positions in senior champs and sectionals for both long course and short course, and qualifying for Futures and Winter Junior Nationals... Notable club times include a 4:29 in the 500 freestyle and a 1:39 in the 200 freestyle.

Has one sister, Leah ... Chose Florida Southern for its exceptional swim team, strong biology program, and appealing campus design... Enjoys gardening, playing video games, crocheting, and engaging in tabletop and board games... Supports USA Swimming and admires professional swimmers Katie Ledecky and Caleb Dressel ... After graduating, he plans to go to med school and become and orthopedic surgeon.
