Ran in three meets ... placed first in the 3,000 meter run at both the Embry-Riddle Last Chance Meet (2/20) and at the USF Invitational (3/12) ... his 3,000-meter time of 8:28.32 at the ERAU Last Chance Meet established a new school record, bettering the old mark of 8:42.95 set by current Moccasin head coach Ben Martucci in 2010 ... qualified for the 5,000-meter run as the 71st-Annual Pepsi Florida Relays (4/2) ... ran the 5,000 meters in a time of 14:40.57 to finish in 16th place overall ... the time of 14:40.57 is the second fastest 5,000-meter time in program history. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2014)
Ran in five meets ... had four Top 10 finishes, including winning the 3,000 meter run at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance Meet (2/22) in a time of 8:46.94 ... was the team's top finisher in the 3,000 meter run at the USF Invitational (3/14) as he ran a time of 8:43.33 to finish 3rd and was also FSC's top finisher in the 5,000 meter run at the Florida State Relays (3/22) as he ran a time of 14:58.20 to finish 3rd ... was 6th in the 5,000 meter run at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (3/28) as he ran a time of 15:36.17 ... recorded a 24th place finish in the 5,000 meter run (15:06.72) at the 70th Annual Pepsi Florida Relays (4/4) ... was 12th in the 1,500 meter run (4:08.15) at the USF Invitational (3/14).

HIGH SCHOOL: 2013 graduate of Cypress Lake High School in Fort Myers ... competed in track and cross country all four years of high school ... was a two-time All-State selection in cross country as a sophomore and senior ... was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Son of Patricia and Bob Ormsby ... born 8/21/95 ... has two younger sisters, Victoria and Stephanie ... majoring in human movement and performance.
