2016 graduate of Meridian High School in Macon, Illinois ... did not run cross country in high school but ran track in all four years ... finished third in State in the 800m as a senior and eighth in the 4x400 ... set school record with most state ... was a four-sport athlete in high school, also playing one year of football, and four years of basketball and baseball ... three-time All-County honoree and two-time All-Conference honoree in basketball ... member of National Honor Socity ... named an Illinois State Scholar ... graduated with High Honors.
