Florida Southern College

Bethany Schner is a Florida Southern College alumna who earned her bachelor’s degree in Business in 2019 before completing her master’s degree at North Park University in 2021. A former collegiate volleyball player, Bethany went on to serve her alma mater as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance, where she used the discipline and work ethic developed as a student-athlete to help athletes and coaches navigate NCAA rules and give back to the athletic community that shaped her. Now a stay-at-home mom, Bethany is equally proud of choosing to step away from a career she loved to be fully present for her daughter, embracing the selflessness, patience and unconditional love that have come with motherhood. Originally from St. Louis, Bethany’s journey reflects the many ways leadership and purpose can evolve throughout different stages of life.
