Biography
Bree Steinke earned her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1999 before completing her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Rocky Vista College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. She currently serves as a Trauma Surgeon at Lakeland Regional Health, building a career in medicine after making the decision to pursue it as a second career in midlife. Her journey reflects a willingness to embrace change, take on new challenges and pursue an entirely new professional path. Before entering the medical field, Bree worked as a crime scene investigator, giving her a unique background and perspective that has shaped her remarkable career journey.
