Chanel Bellotto, a Florida Southern College alumna with a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Class of 2000), is the President of Skate World and a lifelong roller skating enthusiast, having started skating at the age of two. She is most proud of her role in helping pass Florida’s 2023 Roller Skating Rink Safety Act, a milestone achievement that provides critical liability protections for rink operators across the state. Over five years, Chanel collaborated with industry leaders, testified in Tallahassee, and advocated tirelessly for fair and lasting reforms. Her dedication to this cause reflects her belief in the power of persistence, preparation, and using one’s voice to create meaningful change.
