Florida Southern College

Kimberly Elmhorst is a dedicated community volunteer and longtime leader in Polk County, and is now a Past Board Chair of the GiveWell Community Foundation. She has been elected as the Vice Chair Elect Lakeland Regional Health Systems Board, and serves as the Secretary of the Bonnet Springs Park Board. Elmhorst also serves on the Florida Southern College Board of Trustees and was recently appoines as the Chair of the FSC Intercollegiate Athletics Committee. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications from Florida Southern College in 1990 and has spent more than 25 years contributing to the region’s nonprofit landscape. Among her many accomplishments, Kimberly is especially proud of chairing the 2015 United Way of Central Florida Annual Campaign, a role that allowed her to make a significant impact on local families and services. A lifelong supporter of the Mocs, she has been a fan of FSC Basketball since she was 10 years old.
